Overview
The Stronghold Companies is seeking an IT Access Control Technician to support user provisioning, account administration, and access management across our enterprise systems. This role ensures employees have the correct access to applications, network resources, and Microsoft services while maintaining accuracy, security, and compliance.
This is a hybrid role based in the La Porte/Pasadena, TX area.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
  1. Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts in Active Directory
  2. Manage security groups, distribution lists, and shared mailboxes in AD and Exchange Admin Center
  3. Maintain network folder permissions and respond to access requests
  4. Provision access for business applications and IT systems based on approved processes
  5. Support onboarding and offboarding with correct access setup and removal
  6. Handle basic troubleshooting for access and login issues
  7. Assist with documentation and support for audit and compliance reviews
  8. Work closely with IT, HR, and department managers to ensure timely access setup

Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Preferred Education and Experience
