JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
A Lead Racquet Stringer employed with Penn State Campus Recreation is primarily responsible for stringing/re-stringing tennis racquets to members and guests of the Tennis Center. Familiarity with the game of tennis and prior experience is required. This position is expected to string multiple racquets in an hour. Job performance may include all the duties and responsibilities of positions in lower tier levels.
Applicants must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary. Applications will be kept on file through July 31, 2020 and will be reviewed as positions become available.
Preference is given to work study recipients. Interested work study applicants must apply online in Workday.
Campus Recreation is a department within Student Affairs that provides fitness, wellness, and recreational programs to the campus community through the operation and administration of the new expanded and renovated 200,000 sf Intramural Building, the McCoy Natatorium, the 700-acre Stone Valley Outdoor Recreation Area, a Tennis Center including six clay courts and four indoor courts, the White Building, Outdoor Adventures, Aquatics, Club Sports, Fitness and Wellness Programs, and Intramural Sports.
