This is a hybrid role based in New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Raleigh with the expectations to be in office at least 3 days a week for collaboration and connection.

What You'll Deliver

  • Ownassignedgeneral ledgeraccountingand month-end closeactivities,includingjournal entry posting,account reconciliations, flux analyses,and all associated reporting requirements,toensuretimeliness and accuracy.

  • Prepare and review accruals across a multi-entity global organization.Partner with FP&A, AP, and other budget stakeholders in multiple time zones to ensure expenses are properly classified,accrued, and explained

  • Identify,implement,andmaintainbest in class systems and processes, including automation and AI-assisted workflows,to ensure an efficient and effectiveaccountingteam.

  • Support external audit requests, internalcontrolsdocumentation, and technical accounting research as needed.

What You'll Bring

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; with strong working knowledge of US GAAP

  • 2-6 years of accounting experiencedemonstratingincreasing responsibility

  • AdvancedExcelexpertise(complex formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and macros/VBA)

  • Demonstratedtrack recordof automating and improving accounting processes

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability tocollaborate effectivelyacrosstime zones and cultures.

  • Flexibility and adaptability - Must be comfortable with shifting priorities, new tools, and evolving processes

Nice To Haves:

  • CPAa plus

  • Experiencewith high growth software company and/or private equity ownership a plus

  • General ledger and other accounting systems experience. Prior NetSuite experiencea plus.

Pay Transparency for New Jersey Applicants

The base salary range for this role is $70,000 to $90,000 USD. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, education, and other relevant qualifications. This role is also eligible to participate in a company bonus plan.

In addition to base salary, Litera offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, and incentive and recognition programs. Benefits are subject to eligibility requirements.
