Essential Job Duties
Responsible for the holistic development of current student-athletes, the management of professional football relationships, and the cultivation of the alumni community. This is a highly visible, relationship-intensive role that requires someone equally comfortable mentoring a freshman navigating his first semester as he is coordinating logistics for an NFL scout visit. The ideal candidate brings credibility with players, professionalism with pro personnel, and a genuine passion for long-term impact.
Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:
Organize and direct internal Player Development and Success Strategies
  • Provide guidance, mentorship and regular check-ins for players
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that emphasizes personal and professional
  • growth for all players, providing them with strategies for achieving current success and transitioning into life beyond football.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum tailored specifically for first-year college players that is in conjunction with and incorporates Pack Talk programming, emphasizing the strategies needed for a successful transition to college
  • Continually translate and reinforce program standards and culture through player programming
  • Visible on campus to connect with and check on student-athletes dorm checks, program standards in classroom, etc
  • Liaison to relevant athletic department and NCSU campus resources
  • Provide general team and player specific insight to internal Pack Performance group & coaching staff
  • Support player engagement in community service and outreach initiatives

Serve as program's Pro Liaison to include
  • Main point of contact for pro scouts, coaches and front office personnel
  • Advance program's relationship with pro scouts, coaches and front office personnel
  • Scheduling, coordinating, setting guidelines for practice and site visits
  • Education programming and point of contact for players and families on relevant rules
  • Lead for the scheduling, planning, coordination of Pro Day event

Coordinate alumni connection and engagement
  • Utilization of Reconnect degree completion program - identify candidates, assist with on-boarding and track progress
  • Scheduling, planning, execution of reunion events
  • Ideation for alumni participation in player development program
  • Tracking, updating, managing an alumni database
  • Scheduling and content creation for alumni newsletter
  • Main point of contact for alumni requests (tickets, access, etc)

  • Any other duties assigned by the General Manager, Chief of Staff and Head Coach

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree
Other Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years working in Division 1 Football program.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of NCAA and ACC rules and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree
  • Prior experience within a Power 5 or NFL environment.
