Job description

About Us:
Drug Plastics is a competitive, growing company that wants people who are eager to share their knowledge, talent, and experiences.
We are the premier manufacturer of bottles and closures for medicinal, wellness, and lifestyle products. 

Position Overview:

  • Ensure that the final phase of production run smoothly and accurately with the proper placement of labels, cartons, slip sheets, pallets, etc. 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Verify that cartons, taping and stacking requirements are correct and place all cartons on proper pallets.
  • Replace slip sheets and pallets.
  • Tie cartons and move full, checked pallets to staging area with a hand jack.
  • Operate the carton erector. Conduct daily/weekly cleaning of the carton erector.
  • Operate the stretch film wrapping machine (except Boyertown)
  • Maintain and stock Sorting Room raw material (i.e. cartons, film, pallets, etc.)
  • Verify and initial every pallet for the same DPG lot number.
  • Assist the Shift Supervisor in processing order completions and re-inspections.
  • Supply production with empty cartons and liner bags.
  • Complete and provide Shift Supervisor with the required daily production reports for Sorting Room.
  • Maintain all equipment and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
  • Undertake personal responsibility to become, and remain fully qualified to perform all aspects of the position as outlined in the Job Competencies for the Position of Sorting Room.
  • Follow safety guidelines, Company policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
