Job description

The Strength and Conditioning Coach will be directly responsible to the Athletic Director

Responsibilities: 

  1. Build a positive relationship with student athletes, community, teaching staff, coaching staff, and administration.
  2. Supervise all athletes.
  3. Instill the value of physical fitness and conditioning in student athletes.
  4. Provide adequate instructions for fundamentals and safety protocols.
  5. Demonstrate technique and mechanics needed to get stronger.
  6. Correct flaws and defects in student technique.
  7. Cooperate and communicate with all the coaches on their athletes performance and improvements.
  8. Design specific program workouts for each sport.
  9. Work with athletic training staff on rehabilitation of athletes. 

Requirements: 

  1. Supportive of the head coaches.
  2. Respects and enforces the letter and intent of rules, regulation and code with integrity.
  3. Help players develop and strengthen value and morals.
  4. Promote all sports in the athletic program.
  5. Will train all athletic programs fairly and professionally.
  6. Weight room will be open Monday- Friday 3:30-5:30.

Qualification:  Must have a Cross fit Level 1 certification, a USA weightlifting certification or PREFERRED- CSCS ( Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) certification. 

Mandatory - CPR/AED certified
