Objective of the Role The primary goal of this role is to spearhead the conceptualization and creation of four annual collections and special capsule projects, focusing on the development of fabrics, colors, and wash processes. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of streetwear design, marrying creativity with strategic foresight to ensure each collection aligns with the company's visionary aesthetic and quality standards. Ideal Profile The ideal candidate for this position is a highly organized, innovative designer with a strong background in high end streetwear. This person thrives under pressure, meeting tight deadlines with a proactive and entrepreneurial approach. An ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment, coupled with a willingness to engage in domestic and international travel, is essential. This role demands a creative individual who is not only passionate about design but also possesses the communication skills necessary to bring their visions to fruition. Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough research to identify trend directions, ensuring the collections remain innovative and aligned with market demands.
  • Create detailed technical packs and oversee their accurate execution, maintaining the highest standards of design integrity.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to meet calendar deadlines for seasonal and special capsule collections, ensuring seamless project progression.
  • Engage with vendors and the sourcing team to introduce novel elements into product development while adhering to cost specifications.
  • Participate in the review of samples, attend fittings, and communicate design modifications as necessary.
  • Maintain consistent communication with the Production team to ensure the design concept is upheld throughout the production process.
  • Cultivate an understanding of the company's aesthetic, promoting its principles within the design team and throughout daily operations.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is mandatory.
