Who We Are

Bluewater Technologies Group, Inc., founded in 1985, is the only woman-owned business of its kind, bringing together multiple industry-leading teams under one roof. Our mission is simple: unlock the potential of spaces. That potential might mean helping organizations communicate more clearly, operate more efficiently, or even monetize their environments in new ways. From large-scale events and brand activations to workplace environments and permanent installations, we transform spaces into places that connect, inspire, and perform.

At Bluewater, you’ll find planners, makers, and innovators working side by side—blending creativity, technology, and strategy to deliver experiences that matter. Rooted in our EPIC values (Excellence, Passion, Integrity, Collaboration— and Fun!), we’re driven by a shared purpose: to make people smile.

Role Summary

The Senior A/V Integration Project Manager (Sr. PM) is responsible for leading the successful delivery of large-scale, complex A/V integration projects with high visibility and impact. This role combines advanced technical expertise, strategic leadership, and executive-level client management. The Sr. PM not only drives profitability, mitigates risk, and ensures delivery excellence but also mentors junior PMs, shapes best practices, and partners with leadership to advance the Integration team’s capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead high-value, complex, multi-site, or multi-phase projects with accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive-level clients, building long-term relationships and influencing strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, programming, procurement, and installation teams to ensure design intent and technical standards are consistently met in the field.
  • Drive project financial performance: manage budgets, track margins, forecast revenue, and escalate risks such as cost overruns, claims, or back charges.
  • Facilitate formal project kickoff meetings and executive-level progress reviews with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Ensure comprehensive project closeout, including as-built documentation, final deliverables, warranty handoffs, and lessons-learned reporting.
  • Monitor and proactively improve client satisfaction, supporting Net Promoter Score (NPS) goals through responsiveness, issue resolution, and professionalism.
  • Mentor and coach Project Managers and Associate PMs, providing guidance on project execution, client management, and professional development.
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of departmental best practices, tools, and processes.
  • Proactively identify operational improvements and recommend enhancements to strengthen delivery efficiency and profitability.
  • Resolve high-level project issues and client escalations with diplomacy, professionalism, and solutions-focused communication.
  • Work in close partnership with the Sales Team to ensure seamless project handoffs, clear communication, and shared accountability for client satisfaction; foster positive collaboration to minimize friction and strengthen cross-team synergy.
  • Participate in project post-mortems and deliver actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Represent the Project Management function in leadership meetings and cross-departmental initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive project management experience in A/V integration, construction, or related technology industries.
  • Strong technical expertise in A/V systems, including signal flow, enterprise-level control systems (Crestron/AMX/Biamp/Extron), DSPs, large-scale video distribution, audio reinforcement, conferencing platforms, and networking fundamentals.
  • Proven success managing large-scale, complex projects with budgets exceeding $1M.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing executive-level client relationships.
  • Strong financial acumen: ability to forecast, manage budgets, and drive profitability.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Wrike Project Management) and Excel.
  • Ability to manage AIA projects and associated project documentation (drawings, submittals, change orders, schedules).
  • Understanding of construction methods and materials, including low-voltage systems and jobsite safety practices.
  • Experience working with General Contractors on construction and integration projects.
  • Skilled in documentation practices using M365 or similar platforms; disciplined in maintaining project records and compliance documentation.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching other Project Managers; proven leadership in elevating team performance.
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Superior communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with executive stakeholders.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record; ability to travel regularly to client sites and project locations.
  • AVIXA CTS, or equivalent, certification preferred.
  • Q360 proficiency is highly desirable but not required.
  • Adaptable, resourceful, and solutions-focused, with a proven ability to lead in high-pressure, high-visibility environments.
  • Passion for technology, continuous learning, and delivering projects that exceed expectations.

Why Join Us

  • Lead flagship A/V projects that define client experiences and drive company growth.
  • Be part of an innovative, growth-focused culture that prioritizes continuous improvement and partnership between Operations and Sales.
  • Direct opportunities to mentor others, shape best practices, and influence the future of Bluewater’s Project Management discipline.
  • Play a strategic role in strengthening collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence across the organization.
  • Competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and ongoing support for certifications and leadership development.
