Job description

In this role you will be responsible for leading projects and providing operational support for JD Edwards (JDE) Financial Systems. This role combines project management, business analysis, application support, and technical expertise to ensure the successful delivery, maintenance, and continuous improvement of financial applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with JDE Financial modules, project management methodologies, stakeholder engagement, and data analysis.

        Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:

  • Provide functional and technical support for Finance applications, including JD Edwards (JDE) finance modules, ensuring system stability, issue resolution, user training, and continuous improvement of support documentation.

  • Lead and support finance-related projects, including application enhancements, change management, QA testing, Jira coordination, server security updates, and engagement with key business users.

  • Manage Finance data initiatives as a Data Domain Lead by gathering requirements, overseeing data product development, validating data in Snowflake, coordinating with Informatica teams, and approving data-related changes.

  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities by investigating posting issues, analyzing variances and reconciliations, validating financial data, and ensuring timely resolution of critical finance-related problems.

  • Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, SQL queries, and data analytics solutions to support financial reporting, reconciliations, audits, operational metrics, and business decision-making. 

     If you have/are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Business Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience supporting Finance applications and business processes.

  • Strong understanding of business application architecture, system integrations, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies and resolve complex technical issues through to completion.

  • Experience supporting or administering enterprise business applications, preferably within Finance, ERP, or corporate systems environments.

  • Experience collaborating with internal and external auditors and supporting compliance, controls, and audit-related activities is preferred.

  • Ability and willingness to travel within the United States, Canada, and Mexico as needed to provide onsite support, troubleshoot critical issues, and support business initiatives.
