As a Consultant, Corporate Development on the US Corporate Development team, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting Deloitte businesses in refining acquisition priorities aligned to growth strategy
  • Conducting market research and qualitative and quantitative analysis to inform target identification and pipeline development
  • Sourcing and screening acquisition targets under the direction of senior team members
  • Developing strategic rationale and business case materials, including financial modeling and value creation assumptions

The team partners with senior leaders across the firm to evaluate, prioritize, and execute strategic investments that strengthen Deloitte's market position and long-term growth trajectory.

USCD operates at the center of strategy, investment execution, and enterprise transformation. Team members work in a high-impact, high-visibility environment, supporting some of the firm's most significant and complex growth initiatives.

In this role, you'll join a cohort of Consultants/Senior Consultants for USCD. As part of this dynamic resourcing pool, you'll be deployed to high priority initiatives and projects across the Corporate Development ecosystem, helping the team adapt to evolving market needs and prioritize the most important areas for the firm.

This is an internal, non-client-facing role with limited travel as needed for business meetings. The team operates in a remote environment, with flexibility to work from home or a local Deloitte office.

Qualifications
Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of experience in strategy, corporate development, consulting, finance, mergers and acquisitions, or investment evaluation
  • Experience developing presentations for senior stakeholders
  • Experience supporting communications for senior stakeholders
  • Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

  • Experience with market sizing, expert interviews, and survey design

At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
