Summary:

In this role, you will identify, validate, and deliver on high visibility strategic product initiatives. This role operates at the intersection of strategy, product discovery, and execution, with a focus on building internal and customer-facing software solutions for hospitals, distributors, and manufacturers. You will lead product initiatives, develop business cases, validate product-market fit, and drive rapid solution deployment in complex, data-rich environments.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, including customer pain points, competitive dynamics, and emerging technology trends.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to deliver internal efficiencies and greater value in spend management services
  • Lead end-to-end product discovery efforts, including customer interviews, hypothesis testing, and solution validation.
  • Develop robust business cases for new product investments, including financial modeling, ROI analysis, and strategic alignment.
  • Define and execute a product roadmap supporting the National Assessment Center, National Operations Center, and Integrated Supply Chain Services.
  • Partner directly with the leaders of the national centers to shape and deliver strategic product initiatives.
  • Rapidly prototype and deploy new technology-enabled solutions, including AI-driven capabilities, into production environments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, marketing, and client services to bring innovative solutions to market.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Influence and align executive stakeholders on product strategy, priorities, and investment decisions.
  • Provide thought leadership to strengthen product management practices and mentor developing product managers without direct authority.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 10 or more years of experience in software product management. Health care operations and/or supply chain experience preferred.
  • Experience delivering AI-powered solutions generating additional value and efficiencies.

  • Proven ability to develop and articulate business cases for new product investments.
  • High level of comfort engaging directly with customers to drive discovery and validate solutions.
  • Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of influencing senior leaders.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with shifting priorities.
  • Strong technical fluency, with the ability to collaborate deeply with engineering teams and explain complex systems clearly.
