SUMMARY
The Brand Marketing Director is responsible for leading brand strategy development and brand activation across the Mahou USA portfolio. This individual will oversee a team focused on building differentiated brand positioning, driving consumer engagement, and executing impactful marketing programs that strengthen brand equity and accelerate commercial growth.
This role partners cross-functionally with Sales, Commercial Strategy, Finance, Insights, and Production to develop annual brand plans, lead integrated marketing campaigns, and ensure consistent execution across all consumer touchpoints. The Brand Marketing Director will champion consumer-first thinking, leverage data and insights to guide decision-making, and ensure Mahou USA brands remain culturally relevant and competitive within the evolving beverage landscape.
The ideal candidate is a strategic marketing leader with strong team leadership skills, deep brand-building experience, and a passion for creating breakthrough programs that connect with consumers and customers alike.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads the development and execution of annual brand strategies across the Mahou USA portfolio.
  • Manages and develops the brand marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversees integrated marketing planning including media, digital, social, experiential, partnerships, PR, and retail activation.
  • Leads brand activation initiatives that drive consumer engagement, trial, loyalty, and awareness.
  • Co-Develops and manages annual brand calendars with cross-functional input from Sales, Commercial Strategy, Innovation, and Operations.
  • Partners closely with Sales and Commercial teams to ensure brand strategies are effectively translated into retail and on-premise execution.
  • Oversees strategic alignment on campaign development and execution from concept through launch, ensuring programs are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Uses consumer insights, syndicated data, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform brand strategies and optimize marketing investments.
  • Evaluates campaign and activation performance against KPIs and provides recommendations to improve future effectiveness.
  • Leads agency relationships including media, experiential, PR, and digital partners.
  • Presents brand strategies, campaign results, and business recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Ensures brand consistency across all communication channels and consumer touchpoints.
  • Identifies emerging cultural, category, and consumer trends that can drive future growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Innovation and Insights teams to support new product launches and portfolio growth initiatives.
  • Fully responsible for marketing budget management – forecasting, PO process, monthly reconciliation and ROI delivery
  • Responsible for special projects as assigned by the CMO.
  • Consistently identifies and produces opportunities for continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE amp; EXPERIENCE
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below
  • 7-10 years experience executing brand strategy – ideally within beverage, or CPG
  • Experience leading brand activation amp; integrated marketing campaign execution
  • Retail/on-premise support experience
  • Agency coordination (briefing, evaluating creative, deployment)
