Role overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and forward-thinking Market Development Manager to lead the execution of market strategy and development of the market understanding for CPC in Aluminum anodes to identify opportunities in the Carbon-rich Products space for ExxonMobil. This role combines deep domain expertise, innovation leadership, and operational excellence to develop new business opportunities, market understanding and commercial relationships.

What you will do
  • Responsible for establishing vision and direction for the assigned market segment, driving its development and growth in alignment with the overall business strategy for the Carbon-rich Products Platform. By working individually or leading cross-functional teams, they identify enhance segment expertise for the team, develop new solutions and build long-term competitive advantages for the targeted market segment. CPC in aluminum anodes involves a deep understanding of the calcined petcoke market and CPC applications in the used of CPC in aluminum anodes.
  • Segment Strategy Development: Develop segment strategy with detailed execution plans including pipeline targets, channel strategy, value chain engagements, marketing communications activities, trade show participation, and key customer engagement plans
  • Value Chain Engagement: Lead, develop, and strengthen value chain engagement and influence key decision makers on solutions in line with segment strategy
  • Value Proposition Development: Create and maintain detailed competitor profiles and comparative analyses, integrating insights into the segment's value proposition with timely updated Value in Use (ViU)
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Guide cross functional teams in planning and completing new market development projects
About you

Capabilities and Experience:

  • B.S. degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years in Experience in the CPC market with engagement with the aluminum anode market for application of CPC and the relevant understanding
  • Broad market development capability with leadership experience in developing and / or executing in new business spaces
  • Trained in product and application development
  • Business model design experience, including technology licensing models
  • Global relationship development experience
