ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Architect Engagement: Develop and strengthen relationships with architects, introducing them to our products, providing educational materials, and crafting customized solutions that integrate seamlessly into their projects.

  • Contractor Relations: Ensure VIVA Railings is prequalified with general contractors, engage with their pre-construction teams, bid actively on projects, and negotiate effectively to close sales.

  • Sales and Customer Interaction: Respond quickly to sales inquiries, schedule and conduct meetings and product demos, provide quotes, and close deals efficiently.

  • Consultative Relationships: Build lasting relationships with contractors, architects, and designers to ensure our products are specified and to discover new project opportunities.

  • Market Strategy & Reporting: Keep detailed records of activities within your territory, maintain up-to-date contact lists, track project opportunities, monitor competitors, and report key market insights using our CRM system.

  • Quote Management: Handle and follow up on quotes diligently to maximize conversion rates.

  • Territorial Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective market strategies to ensure comprehensive coverage and enhance the visibility of VIVA Railings products.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven experience in consultative selling to build relationships and boost sales.

  • Self-motivated individual with a proven track record of setting and surpassing goals.

  • Flexibility for up to 75% monthly overnight travel within the assigned territory. Prior extensive work-related travel experience is essential.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software.

  • Exceptional presentation skills combined with superior verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Persistent, persuasive, and diligent in multitasking and meeting deadlines.

  • Technical know-how in construction to provide consultative services effectively.

  • Comfortable working from a home-based office.

  • Familiarity with long selling cycles.

EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial building product sales.

  • Proven experience in sales targeting General Contractors.

  • Established track record in specification & consulting sales to Architects.
