Strategic Development Officer Opportunity Description

Our client is an expanding healthcare organization specializing in home-based services, including home health, hospice, private duty care, and behavioral health. Based in New York, this role is centered on driving growth initiatives, increasing market share, and building strong partnerships with referral sources. Our client is looking for a growth-minded individual who is comfortable interacting with the C-Suite. A competitive total package includes base salary plus a generous bonus plan along with benefits. Strategic Development Officer Requirements
  • A track record of strategic growth and development of partnerships with a large healthcare system, home health, hospice, or private duty home care.
  • Familiar with a variety of payor sources: Medicare, Medicaid Advantage, Managed Care, and Private Insurances.
  • Multi-state Home Health Sales Experience Required.
Strategic Development Officer Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive B2B growth strategy across home-based care service lines, including market segmentation, targeting, and expansion into new referral channels.
  • Leverage market insights, population health trends, and cross-functional collaboration to drive innovative growth initiatives and care models aligned with demand.
  • Build and lead a high-performing, accountable sales organization by recruiting, developing, and coaching talent in modern, data-driven, consultative selling practices.
  • Establish best-in-class sales operations, including clear KPIs, pipeline management, forecasting, and a culture of urgency and continuous improvement.
