Job description

Why This Role, Why Now

OneTrack is a profitable, growth-stage AI company redefining warehouse and logistics technology. We have product-market fit, marquee enterprise clients, and a business that is scaling fast across every function: sales, marketing, communications, people, and the way we run the company itself. The work outpaces the team, and we need someone with the range, instincts, and drive to plug into wherever the leverage is highest. This role reports into the Chief of Staff; it is a foundational hire for our operating team and one of the highest-impact roles we can make as we scale.

About the Role

As Strategy & Operations Associate, you will work shoulder-to-shoulder with our leadership team to take on the most important, ambiguous, and cross-cutting problems facing the company. One week you are standing up a new GTM motion, the next you are launching a brand campaign, then designing how our team experiences working at OneTrack, then automating an internal workflow with AI agents.

You will define the problem, structure the work, and build the thing (whether that is a market entry plan, a product launch playbook, a recruiting funnel, or an agentic workflow that replaces a manual corporate process). The surface area is enormous and the work is genuinely varied. That is the point. We are looking for a generalist who is hungry to learn how a company gets built, excited to create the path forward, and deeply commercial at every altitude.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Flex across the company’s highest-priority initiatives. Partner with leadership to scope, plan, and execute work spanning go-to-market, marketing, communications, employee experience, and internal operations. The portfolio shifts with the business — so will you.

Analyze. Build. Repeat. Turn strategic ideas into operational reality. Stand up new processes, launch campaigns, design programs, and ship internal tools. We value the person who closes the loop.

Reinvent corporate processes with AI. Identify manual, repetitive, or judgment-heavy workflows across the business and rebuild them with AI agents and automation.

Drive GTM and marketing initiatives. Support sales motions, campaign launches, content production, and external communications. You will move comfortably between strategy work (positioning, segmentation, pricing experiments) and execution (writing the post, briefing the agency, tailoring the pitch).

Shape the very best employee experience. Help us build a place people are proud to work at. Stand up development programs, design rituals, support recruiting, and own the everyday details that make the team feel like a team.

Innovate with permission. Spot the gap, propose the fix, and go. We don’t want someone who waits to be told what the next thing is.

Experience & Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in an environment that demanded breadth, ownership, and pace — top-tier consulting, investment banking or private equity, a hyper-growth startup, a founding or early-team role, or a chief of staff seat at a venture-backed company

• Flawless written and verbal communication; you can write a launch announcement, brief a CEO, and explain a new process to a new hire with equal clarity

• Sharp instincts for prioritization and the judgment to know what matters most when everything feels urgent

• Hands-on with modern AI tools and a real point of view on how agents and automation can change how companies operate; bonus if you have already built workflows with LLMs, Claude, ChatGPT, Lovable, Replit, or similar

• Creative, resourceful, and comfortable starting from a blank page —find your way to “yes”

• A bias toward action and a strong work ethic; you would rather try something imperfect than wait for the perfect plan

• Genuine excitement about warehouses, logistics, and physical operations is a plus; obsession with how things actually get built is required

Benefits

Compensation & Location

We are predominantly located in New York and Chicago but remain open to remote employees. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and is estimated to range from $110,000 to $130,000. The role is eligible for a performance-based cash bonus and equity awards.
