We are seeking a strong Director, Commercial Ops for Commercial and Marketing. This Director will report to the Chief Commercial and Brand Officer and will drive strategy, prioritization, alignment, and planning for all key Marketing/CX initiatives. This leader will work with stakeholders to develop and implement plans across the organization. This role is not only critical to delivering the best possible experience for our customers, but also instrumental for helping TAG continually achieve high levels of efficiency, growth, innovation, and employee engagement.
As a key leader sitting between our business, technology, UX, and market-facing teams, this role will strongly influence strategy, process, and direction within the organization, including:
  • Drive the cross-functional strategic planning process across Marketing, CX and Product, including defining goals and metrics, setting priorities, and determining the right investments in resources and technology
  • Work with leaders across the Marketing/CX team to drive performance across the patient funnel, including diagnosing performance, prioritizing actions, ensuring the team is focused on the right things and tracking progress and results
  • Project management of cross-functional teams in support of marketing and CX initiative development, execution and ongoing evaluation
  • Work with the CMCXO in the preparation of materials for the Executive Team or Board of Directors on marketing, product, and CX strategy and performance
  • Being highly flexible - a strong independent worker, but also able and willing to exert strong influencer skills, work on the front line of strategic opportunities, with an aptitude to execute on leadership vision within the market
  • Could be called on by the Strategy and Business Development organization as a resource to evaluate new areas for investment from a marketing, product, and CX perspective

The Director, Commercial Ops acts as a consultant which requires close partnership with business and functional leaders and employees throughout the organization. The Director, Commercial Ops must ensure that projects appropriately capture the resident knowledge and experiences of subject matter experts throughout the organization, synthesize and translate that expertise in combination with their data-driven analysis into actionable recommendations in support of business objectives.

Requirements:
  • Education Level: Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
  • 3-5 years relevant professional experience in strategy/management consulting
  • 5-10 years of experience in strategic planning at the intersection of product, customer experience and technology, that includes a strong element of project management
  • At least 5-year experience working on and driving highly visible, highly impactful cross-functional projects
  • Must be intellectually curious, inquisitive, thoughtful, and a good listener
  • Must demonstrate critical thinking skills with an ability to creatively develop varied solution sets to multidimensional problems
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task several complex projects with the flexibility to be proactive in a fast pace, ever changing environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to lead through influence as well as collaborate across functional areas
  • Resourceful and motivated self-starter
  • Analytical & Word Processing skills: Must demonstrate advanced command of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) at the level of business case model building and preparing written memos and presentations for an executive-level audience
  • Presentation & Communication skills: must be able to (i) communicate (both written and oral) in a clear, concise, articulate fashion and (ii) when presenting work, demonstrate clear, concise articulation of proposed actions, illustrating opportunity, alternatives, considerations, recommendations and associated economics

Annual Pay Range: $160k-210k, plus bonus opportunity
