About the team The E-commerce Strategy team for TikTok Shop plays a critical role in setting direction and accelerating growth of the US market. The team operates at the center of global strategy planning, research and analysis, partnering closely with regional and industry leaders to identify market opportunity, determine operation directions and set key team targets. We are looking for a Strategy & Analytics Associate for US resource management. Responsibilities - Strategic Planning & Roadmapping: Drive the development of long-term strategic roadmaps for TikTok Shop in the US market, leveraging market intelligence to identify high-growth categories and white-space opportunities. - Business Performance Diagnostics: Conduct granular analysis of business health, synthesizing complex datasets to optimize unit economics, operational efficiency, and seller penetration within the region. - Market Intelligence & Research: Lead comprehensive research on the e-commerce landscape, including deep-dive competitor analysis and emerging social commerce trends to refine platform positioning. - Executive Support & Decision Science: Author high-impact strategy white papers and presentations for leadership, translating analytical findings into clear, data-driven recommendations for localized investment and scaling. - Cross-Functional Initiative Orchestration: Serve as a primary strategic partner for Product, Marketing, and Ops teams, aligning initiatives from conceptual framework through to execution and scaled impact. - Operational Excellence: Navigate a fast-paced environment to drive organizational alignment, ensuring consistent execution of strategy across all functional pillars and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - Professional Experience: 3+ years of experience in strategy, business analysis, or strategic finance at leading technology companies or consulting firm. - Proficiency in advanced business modeling and performance diagnostics, with a proven track record of translating complex datasets into strategic insights for the US market. - Demonstrated ability to coordinate across cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Marketing, Ops), driving organizational alignment and strategic execution within a fast-paced environment. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with extensive experience in areas such as competitor benchmarking, unit economics optimization, and long-term business roadmapping. - Comfortable navigating high-growth, ambiguous environments and managing complex projects from conceptual framework to scaled implementation. [For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $102600 - $159600 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
