Ornua is actively seeking a Sr. Sales Planning & Strategy Analyst to join the Ornua Family as we continue our growth trajectory. This position will play a key role in driving transportation excellence, optimizing service performance, managing transportation costs, and ensuring the reliable delivery of products across our temperature-controlled supply chain.

WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE

As our Sr. Analyst, Sales Planning & Strategy, you will serve as a strategic analytical partner to Sales leadership, helping shape customer strategies, portfolio decisions, and revenue growth initiatives. Your work will directly influence how Ornua identifies opportunities, mitigates risks, optimizes investments, and executes against commercial objectives.

This role goes beyond reporting and analysis. You will lead key analytical projects, generate actionable insights from complex data, and collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to support strategic decision-making and long-term business growth.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

You are a highly analytical and commercially minded professional who excels at translating data into meaningful business recommendations. You enjoy solving complex problems, uncovering growth opportunities, and influencing decisions through compelling storytelling and insights.

You bring strong business acumen, advanced analytical capabilities, and the ability to work effectively across multiple functions.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in sales analysis, commercial analytics, category management, or a related field. 
  • Deep experience working with syndicated data such as Nielsen and/or Circana (IRI).
  • Strong experience partnering directly with Sales teams and influencing business decisions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, forecasting, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.

Desired Qualifications

  • Costco IRI/Circana experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with CRM systems and data visualization tools.
  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), food, dairy, or retail industry experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting category management, assortment optimization, promotional analytics, and forecasting initiatives.
  • Experience mentoring analysts or leading analytical projects across multiple stakeholders.

PAY RANGE: $104,500 - $127,500

This range represents the overall market pay rate for candidates who meet the necessary qualifications and experience requirements for this role. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, education, and performance.
