About This Role:

Crusoe is looking for a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist to support building and execution of sourcing strategies for several Cloud Data Center Infrastructure equipment categories. You will support the end-to-end procurement lifecycle from market analysis and strategy development to contract negotiation and supplier performance management. As a key business partner to Data Center Engineering, Construction, and Operations, you will help deliver value, mitigate risk, and ensure the right supplier relationships to support Crusoe’s growth. This is a foundational role for a professional looking to scale their career in sourcing or procurement within a high-growth, mission-driven technology company. This is a full-time position with flexibility to be based in Bellevue (WA).

What You’ll Be Working On:

  • Category Support: Support the development and execution of sourcing strategies for several Cloud Data Center categories

  • Procurement Lifecycle: Assist in managing the end-to-end procurement lifecycle from market analysis and strategy development through contract negotiation and supplier performance management

  • Stakeholder Partnership: Partner with stakeholders to help deliver value, mitigate risk, and ensure the right supplier relationships to support Crusoe’s growth

  • Contract Negotiation: Support contract negotiations and supplier relationship management to optimize cost, quality, and service delivery

  • Process Improvement: Assist in identifying and implementing procurement process improvements that increase efficiency and visibility across corporate categories

  • Supplier Engagement: Analyze product and price data for negotiations; conduct comparative analyses of vendor terms/quotes against historical data to develop recommendations. Manage formal and informal source selection and screening processes in support of engineering

  • Proposal Evaluation: Conduct multiple concurrent bid events (RFIs, RFQs, RFPs). Prepare bid summaries and commercial award recommendations for leadership and stakeholders.

  • Supplier Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, long-term supplier relationships

  • Project Status Updates: Proactively communicate progress and potential challenges to relevant stakeholders

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field

  • Experience: 2-5+ years in procurement, sourcing, or category management

  • Technical Knowledge: Foundational understanding of category strategy development and cost savings methodologies

  • Analytical Skills: Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Communication: Solid communication and stakeholder partnership skills with a desire to grow influence across the organization

  • Negotiation: Experience in negotiation and the ability to interact and deal-make effectively

  • Organizational Skills: Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Compensation

Compensation will be paid in the range of $110,000 – $135,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
