What is the opportunity?   

We are now looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager (SSM) E&E, who can be a part of our success! 

As a Strategic Sourcing Manager (SSM) you are a key member of the Procurement E&E team. Your mission is to source suppliers, goods and services on behalf of Arjo, secure production continuity with optimal inventory levels, support category strategies, proactively monitor Supply Chain processes and act independently. You will be creating and participating in shaping category strategies, proactively monitoring Supply Chain processes and act independently based on your previous experience. You will also maintain Supplier Relationship Management within this category during whole P2P process. Youll leverage your knowledge about sourcing, negotiation, contract management, purchasing and market for this area.

As SSM E&E you will be responsible for: 

  • Develop supply base and supply chain strategies aligned with company business goals
  • Support development and execute Strategic Plan including sustainability objectives
  • Daily collaboration and development of relationship with suppliers (SRM) and internal stakeholders
  • Prepare, manage, and analyze RFQs to recommend suppliers and develop category strategy
  • Perform and execute responsibilities defined in the Source to Contract Process
  • Analyze costs, pricing structure and total cost of ownership
  • Monior and assess raw material, labor, political, financial market conditions impact 
  • Recommend/ advice raw materials/ technologies for NPD projects
  • Negotiate terms and conditions and contract with suppliers
  • Secure favorable deals for the organization
  • Actively search for cost reduction opportunities
  • Continiously monitor, assess and act on Supply risks based on political, financial and environmental impact 
  • Evaluate market conditions for assigned commodities
  • Leading global sourcing projects in E&E category for your respective segment
  • Monitor overall supplier performance (quality, costs, logistics, sustainability)

Skills you will need: 

  • Minimum 3 years procurement expertise in production company, inprocurement with global scope or purchasing department

  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven track of records in Sourcing / Negotiations / Purchasing

  • Bachelor degree or equal in business, finance or related fields

  • Familiarity with MRP systems

  • Analytical thinking

  • Negotiation skills

  • Fluent in English
