Summary:

The Finance Data Management Team is responsible for supporting the Finance division in several main capacities: management of the Workday Foundation Data Model and Workday Finance Business Processes, administration and development of Workday Accounting Center, administration of Workday Adaptive Planning, maintenance of Workday Finance configurations, and data management in support of reporting, integrations, audits and compliance.

This role provides maintenance and administration of finance specific applications, data and business processes which provide support across the Finance division. A Financial Data Consultant collaborates cross-functionally throughout the organization to ensure the quality and timeliness of our financial transactions, reporting and analysis.

Essential Accountabilities:

Level I

Participates in administration and configuration across all finance technologies supported by the Finance Data Management team which include but are not limited to: Workday Accounting Center and Prism solutions, Workday Adaptive Planning, and Workday Financials.

Supports and tests the configuration and deployment of new projects & enhancements for supported functions, Workday Foundation Data Model, Financial reporting and finance related business processes.

Combines business and technology knowledge to redesign and optimize activities in a process(es) and translate business requirements into technology solutions.

Acts as a consultant to Finance division to leverage our technology investment to improve process, quality and timeliness of our financial accounting, reporting and analysis.

Maintains various accounting translation tables/rules to support new products, other business needs, regulatory requirements, etc.

Identifies data issues and recommends mitigation solution(s).

Responsible for small-to-medium feature and code development; analyzes, researches, and resolves system issues.

Remains informed about changes to policies and processes, especially as they relate to shifts that impact end-user processes, business operations, and current/future functionality.

Works on financial report development and enhancements, including but not limited to Office Connect.

Maintains proficiency with system features, functionality, and related skills necessary to manage and support Finance data management, applications, and business processes.

Level II (in addition to Level I Accountabilities)

Identifies and implements improvements leveraging technology and the implementation of new features focused on automation to improve accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of financial transactions, reporting and analysis.

Develops technical expertise in the Workday reporting and analytics framework to support financial reporting and analysis.

Gathers business requirements and provide conceptual design to meet business needs, manage configurations in Workday, test and support the rollout of proposed solution.

Responsible for complex solutions development, system design, and development with broad impacts to a portfolio of applications and/or systems across Finance.

Develops strategies to mitigate risk and translates those strategies into specific action plans.

Acts as a Subject Matter Expert across technology discipline and/or a business discipline.

Provides leadership in determining technology and data impact(s) resulting from Strategic projects, compliance/regulatory mandates and business growth initiatives.

Provides direction to ADT on technical requirements for interface development.

Acts as backup for similar Workday functional roles in other administrative divisions (e.g., HR, Supply Chain, etc.).

Level III (in addition to Level II Accountabilities)

Acts as a domain expert in one or more supported functions/applications: Workday Accounting Center, Workday Adaptive Planning, Workday Foundational Data Model and/or Workday Financials.

Provides analysis of complex source system data required for transactions to enable the establishment of accounting rules to support the completeness and accuracy of financial statements.

Identify inefficient technical or business processes and recommend improvements through strategic or standardized technologies.

Provides advanced level of thought leadership in one or more of the following disciplines (Business, Integration, Data, Technology, Process Improvement).

Researches and identifies areas of innovation with the intent to advance Finance technical/business capabilities through the effective use of technology or process.

Mentors' members of the team.

Minimum Qualifications:

All Levels

Four (4) years of direct experience with finance systems and accounting.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.

Working knowledge of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application and/or Budgeting platform preferred, Workday and Adaptive Planning strongly preferred.

Demonstrated knowledge of finance and accounting acumen, and specialized skill in the maintenance and administration of the finance specific applications.

Strong data analytical skill working with Finance and Healthcare preferred.

Knowledge of process improvement principals.

Experience with MS Excel, data analysis and formatting.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

Level II (in addition to Level I Qualifications)

Six (6) years of direct experience with finance systems and accounting.

Demonstrated competence with Workday or Adaptive Planning strongly preferred.

Demonstrated competence in conditional data formatting and/or retrieval concepts.

Demonstrated competence in Procure-to-Pay and Quote-to-Cash business workflows preferred.

Level III (in addition to Level II Qualifications)

Eight (8) years of direct experience with finance systems and accounting.

Demonstrated competence with Insurance Payor terminology and financial concepts.

Demonstrated competence in team leadership/technical leadership, facilitation, and project leadership.

Experience in SQL, VBA or other relative programming language preferred.

Experience in Microsoft Excel Power Automate preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work while sitting and/or standing at a workstation viewing a computer and using a keyboard, mouse and/or phone for three (3) or more hours at a time.

Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or trainings as needed.

Level I: Grade E5: Minimum $71,880 - Maximum $129,384

Level II: Grade E6: Minimum $79,068 - Maximum $142,322

Level III: Grade E7: Minimum $87,766 - Maximum $157,978

The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position. Actual salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, budget available, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position's minimum qualifications, in addition to internal equity. The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package.
