This position serves as a strategic recruitment partner to operational and physician leaders, supporting workforce planning and executing innovative sourcing strategies to attract top clinical talent. Primary recruitment responsibilities will focus on high-volume and difficult-to-fill specialties, including **Anesthesiology** or **Primary Care (Family Medicine/Internal Medicine)**, while providing recruitment support across additional specialties and markets based on organizational priorities and business needs.The Physician and APP Recruiter manages the recruitment lifecycle from requisition intake through candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer development, negotiations, and onboarding transition. This role develops and maintains strong candidate pipelines, builds relationships with residency and fellowship programs, professional organizations, and passive candidates, and represents Sentara at recruitment events and conferences.The recruiter partners closely with physician leadership, operations, credentialing, compensation, immigration, and onboarding teams to deliver an exceptional candidate experience while ensuring compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and recruitment best practices.
