Responsibilities

The Midwest Strategic Recruiter is a pivotal role responsible for developing and implementing innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent and support the organization's growth objectives. This role will support our Midwest strategic recruitment initiatives by identifying, attracting, and securing critical senior-level talent.

  • Lead Midwest recruitment efforts for senior-level and critical positions across the organization.
  • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive candidates.
  • Build and maintain robust talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs for our Midwest region.
  • Establish and build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and hiring managers.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by providing insights into market trends and talent acquisition best practices.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, effectively promoting the firm's culture, values and career opportunities to prospective candidates.
  • Conduct comprehensive interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills and experience.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers throughout the evaluation process to ensure a rigorous, inclusive and equitable selection experience.
  • Lead offer negotiations and collaborate with internal teams to finalize employment terms.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic recruitment with a focus on high-level or critical positions.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required.
  • Strategic mindset, strong interpersonal skills and ability to build credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record of success in recruitment for senior level executives and critical positions.
  • Proven success in developing and executing comprehensive talent acquisition strategies at a high level.
  • Experience in the A/E/C industry (Architecture, Engineering, Construction)
  • Strong knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and emerging talent.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to run full cycle executive/strategic level searches.
  • Dependable and reliable.
