The Strategic Program Manager is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that drive enterprise transformation, strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and business growth through the successful delivery of complex cross-functional programs. This role partners closely with business and technology leaders to translate strategic objectives into executable plans and measurable outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines strong project leadership capabilities with business acumen, executive communication skills, and experience operating in fast-paced environments where priorities evolve rapidly.

DESCRIPTION

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Lead complex programs and initiatives across Origination, Servicing, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Commercial organizations.
  • Partner with business leaders to define scope, success metrics, operating models, and implementation roadmaps for strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and manage program plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communications.
  • Coordinate multiple workstreams and ensure alignment across business and technology teams.
  • Facilitate executive meetings, governance forums, and decision-making sessions.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, status updates, business cases, and recommendations.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and organizational impacts and drive resolution strategies.
  • Support product launches, business readiness, operational readiness, and change management activities.
  • Drive accountability across stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of business outcomes.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in related field is preferred.
  • 12+ years of project, program, or transformation leadership experience.
  • Mortgage origination and/or servicing experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading enterprise initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and business functions.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership teams and governance processes.
  • PMP certification preferred but not required

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Working on-site at assigned office location.
  • Regular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership.
  • Flexibility to work occasionally adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines or as business needs demand.
  • Working in a cubicle hub, maintaining focus on phone calls in a noisy environment within earshot of multiple other conversations.
  • Sedentary work in a stationary position at a cubicle for prolonged periods of time.
  • Constant repetitive motions required for operating a computer, such as typing and managing phone calls.
  • Constantly communicating effectively verbally in English, including accurately exchanging information with others following identification of correct procedures.
