Key Responsibilities

  • Update actual numbers in the DTP spreadsheet, empty actual versus VEPO data, and other Strategy measurements as assigned.
  • Communicate with Yard, Vessel, Unions, and other operational teams as needed to support a fluid vessel execution process focused on safety and efficiency.
  • Communicate status updates to the Assistant Operations Manager regarding pre-planning progress.
  • Identify and communicate yard pile challenges, crane or yard conflicts, and other operational issues that may affect vessel planning.
  • Reconcile vessel load lists, including no-load containers and containers on hold, and communicate applicable lists to steamship lines.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in supply chain, logistics, maritime, transportation, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Experience using computers for a variety of work-related tasks.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal, written, and oral communication skills.

  • Must be authorized to work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Supply chain, logistics, maritime, transportation, or terminal operations experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of terminal operating systems preferred, including Tideworks applications such as Mainsail and Spinnaker.
