Job Description

THE POSITION:  

The Senior Strategic Planner will be responsible for development and management of digital strategy for Intouch's clients. The role requires an innovator, a trendsetter, and a progressive thinker who can connect digital to all other aspects of business and drive growth opportunities. The Strategist answers key questions such as how the customer experiences brands across all channels and how digital interactions fit into it. This role requires an in depth understanding of digital media, technology, and how trends affect marketing and healthcare industry. 

Primary responsibilitiesrequire having a well-formed opinion and help guide a multi-discipline team on how data-driven marketing; mobile, social, and general marketing trends affect advertising.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams.  These results are achieved by:  

  • Works with team to develop brand, digital and channel strategies, briefs, ecosystems and customer journeys 

  • Storyteller and persuasive presenter 

  • Directs strategic key components of the clients business and actively engages client 

  • Leads multiple , simultaneous projects and assignments including delegating as needed and appropriate 

  • Responsible for survey development, focus groups and consumer interviews for smaller brands 

  • Takes lead on all annual planning deliverables 

  • Identifies opportunities for improvement, organic growth and workflow efficiencies of agency 

  • Works with Directors to identify strengths and weaknesses of direct reports and helps improve their skill sets and responsibilities 

  • Works with creative team to concept new relevant ideas 

  • Writes comprehensive multi-channel plans, KPIs to evaluate and optimize 

  • Partners with SMEs, Creative and Account to build cross-functional team 

  • Ensures the strategies and behavior insights drive creative output throughout all stages of development 

  • Solid relationships with SMEs and deep understanding of their roles and contributions 

  • Expert pharmaceutical, assigned brand and audience knowledge 

  • Expansive understanding of digital channels and works with Strategic Director on all cross-channel strategies, plans and ecosystems 

  • Balances managing projects and individual assignments 

  • Starts to develop and actively participate in the development of POVs, channel/tactical plans, patient journeys and digital ecosystems 

  • Collaborates and encourages leveraging agency departments and expertise 

  • modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or psychology (or equivalent education plus professional experience) required 

  • Minimum of 5 years account planning experience, digital, healthcare experience a plus
