This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners.

Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.
Amazon is seeking an experienced Strategic Partnership Manager to support the growth of our Strategic Partnership Engagement team.
As a Strategic Partnership Manager, you will deliver on our strategy to build mind share and adoption of AWS across strategic business partners. You will be responsible for driving top of the line revenue growth and overall end customer adoption across all market segments through partner engagement. The ideal candidate has both a business background that enables them to engage at the CXO level, and a sales background that enables them to easily interact with field sales reps

You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to convey compelling value propositions. You will leverage your management and leadership capabilities to identify and manage risks, resolve issues and escalate where appropriate to drive joint partnership and business plan. You will be comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high energy environment and will be a creative and analytical problem solver with a passion for delivering results.

You will work with cross functional teams to create and execute on strategic business plans, inclusive of enablement, practice development, and marketing, to execute achievement against partner goals.
Key job responsibilities
- Advise customers and commercial sales teams on the value of partners and align partners with the AWS sales teams to drive successful sales outcomes
- Expand existing AWS footprint, as well as drive new customer engagements with partners to grow overall revenue with a focus on business outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to build input-focused project plans for achievement of key measures.
- Communicate program status updates to stakeholders and business leaders through various governance mechanisms.
- Plan and create standardized reporting, performance metrics, and operational process optimization.
- Drive and provide business insights for deep dives in business reviews.
- Building and maintaining relationships with partner teams and internal AWS stakeholders.
