The Global Strategic Marketing Director, Beauty & Home is accountable for the execution of strategic marketing direction and the operational leadership of the Strategic Marketing function for the Beauty & Home business globally.

The role drives profitable and sustainable growth by developing and implementing comprehensive segment strategies that achieve targeted market positioning. Through deep understanding of market dynamics, customer requirements, and endconsumer needs, the Director develops valuebased strategies that leverage the full breadth of Lubrizol's capabilities across commercial, technical, and operational functions.

This role leads global strategic marketing execution through a matrixed network of regional, technical, and commercial partners, ensuring alignment from strategy definition through seamless execution.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Develop and execute the global strategic marketing agenda for Beauty & Home, translating business strategy into actionable market and segment plans.
  • Provide operational direction and prioritization for the Strategic Marketing function within the global business.
  • Directly lead and inspire a team of 7-8 Strategic Marketing professionals global, fostering capability development, engagement, and strong delivery of global business priorities.
  • Lead a global network of indirect and matrixed resources, setting clear direction, expectations, and performance standards.
  • Develop and implement global segment and portfolio strategies to drive sustainable, profitable growth.
  • Establish deep understanding of market trends, customer requirements, endconsumer needs, and competitive dynamics.
  • Define and oversee Voice of the Customer programs, translating insights into clear strategic recommendations.
  • Partner with Technology, R&D, and Product Management to guide innovation direction and new product launches.
  • Lead gotomarket strategies and provide strategic guidance to regional commercial, marketing, and technical teams.
  • Build trusted crossfunctional partnerships to ensure global and regional alignment and effective execution.
  • Define and track KPIs, report performance to leadership, and adapt strategies based on results and market feedback.
Required Qualifications That Enable Your Success
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or related field required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of managerial experience with accountability for strategy execution and operational leadership.
  • At least 10 years of marketing experience in B2B and/or B2C environments.
  • Proven experience leading global market strategies, gotomarket execution, and innovation launches.
  • Demonstrated success operating in a complex, global matrix organization.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to travel globally 30-35%.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong project, stakeholder, and performance management capabilities.
  • Recognized credibility as a strategic marketing leader with strong financial acumen.
