Summary:

In this role, you will advance Vizient's commercial strategy by translating account insights, performance metrics, and client needs into actionable intelligence that supports sales and account planning for the spend management business. You will collaborate across business units to develop strategic account insights, improve operational processes, and enable consistent execution through data-driven recommendations, reporting, and governance.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver actionable commercial intelligence to sales and account management teams to support revenue intelligence strategies and execution.

  • Support account planning and strategy development by analyzing client priorities, contract utilization, savings opportunities, supply chain performance, and growth objectives.

  • Apply knowledge of healthcare supply chain, hospital spend categories, healthcare GPOs, and Vizient solutions to identify opportunities that improve client outcomes and account growth.

  • Partner with enterprise, business unit, business intelligence, sales analytics, and client engagement teams to align account strategies, execution plans, and opportunity ownership.

  • Develop and maintain reporting, tools, templates, governance, and training that enable consistent account planning and execution.

  • Monitor account plans, account health, and key performance indicators while preparing recurring leadership updates on strategic priorities and progress.

  • Maintain CRM data integrity by ensuring accurate account information, contacts, opportunities, client interactions, and key communications.

  • Improve workflows and operational efficiency by applying critical thinking, process improvement methodologies, and technology, including AI-enabled tools.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 2 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Foundational knowledge of healthcare supply chain, hospital spend categories, spend management, or healthcare GPO operations preferred.

  • Experience supporting account planning, sales operations, customer success, revenue operations, commercial enablement, or a related business function.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications; experience using AI-enabled technologies to improve efficiency preferred.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $116,300.00.
