POSITION OVERVIEW:

Hussey Seating Company is seeking a visionary and results-driven Vice President of Marketing to shape and lead our marketing strategy across both direct commercial sales and an established dealer network during our next phase of continued growth. This role will elevate marketing from a functional capability to a strategic growth engine through scalable, data-driven initiatives, while ensuring current marketing programs are implemented and goals are successfully met.

The Vice President of Marketing will shape and lead a high impact Marketing team that will work cross-functionally to define market positioning, strengthen HSC’s competitive advantage and brand equity, design and execute go-to-market product launches and accelerate revenue.

This role will serve as a key member of the Senior Team, partnering closely with Sales, Product Development, Finance, Operations, and Executive Leadership to translate business priorities into measurable growth outcomes.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute a multi-year strategic marketing roadmap aligned with revenue, share, and profitability goals
  • Own end-to-end marketing strategy, from vision and roadmap to operational delivery
  • Define differentiated market positioning and value propositions that strengthen brand and market leadership
  • Measurably increase pipeline, revenue growth, and customer value across both direct and dealer channels
  • Use data to inform investment decisions, segmentation, and growth strategy in alignment with business goals, performance and ROI
  • Understand end-user needs and dealer landscape to build a best-in-class market insights capability
  • Establish KPIs tied to pipeline, revenue, and marketing ROI
  • Translate data, trends, and competitive intelligence into strategic action
  • Ensure consistent messaging, campaigns, and customer experience across direct sales and dealer channels
  • Create new product roadmap, including launches, pricing, and GTM strategy
  • Orchestrate cross-functional execution with Product Development, Sales, Finance, and Operations
  • Increase dealer productivity and channel effectiveness
  • Develop sales tools, case studies, and competitive positioning
  • Map the full buying and specification journey
  • Anticipate shifts in market dynamics and serve as a strategic advisor to the Senior Team on growth, positioning, and market intelligence

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • 15+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience
  • 7-10+ years leading, mentoring, and scaling a high-performing strategic marketing organization
  • Demonstrated ability to lead strategic marketing transformation and deliver measurable business outcomes
  • Expertise in operating in multi-route-to-market environments
  • Experience in creating alignment between Sales, Marketing, and Dealer Networks around shared revenue objectives
  • Ability to work on-site in an office setting at least 80% of the work week and, at times, 100%. A willingness to relocate within reasonable commuting distance of North Berwick within 6 months of employment is required for consideration

Preferred:

  • Experience in complex B2B markets, ideally in venue management, AEC, sports-related or engineered to order sectors
  • MBA or advanced business degree

Hussey Seating Company uses a market-based approach to compensation.  The anticipated starting range for this position is $190,500 to $285,800 annual.  Individual compensation is determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, education, certifications, internal equity, and the responsibilities of the position.
