We are currently seeking resumes from qualified, responsible, self-sufficient, energetic Marketing Interns for our Phoenix, Arizona office. The ideal candidate will be motivated to develop and build their personal knowledge and skills to assist with the growth and success of the office. Job Description:

This Marketing Intern role will support our corporate Business Development/Marketing team. This role provides hands-on experience in proposal development, brand positioning, and strategic communications in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. This role will gain the following skills:

  • Exposure to the marketing and business development process in a professional services environment
  • Experience working with technical teams on real-world infrastructure projects
  • Opportunity to build a portfolio of proposals and marketing materials
  • Mentorship from experienced marketing and engineering professionals


This role will benefit from hand-on experience, technical training and mentorship opportunities. This position will assist in and have exposure to all facets of marketing for professional services. They will assist in the following duties:

  • Developing proposals and statement of qualifications (SOQs)
  • Preparing and formatting marketing materials and deliverables
  • Researching and tracking project leads and client opportunities
  • Contribute to content creation for social media, website updates and internal communications
  • Supporting filing, organization and other administrative duties
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally, if needed


Job Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):

  • Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, English or a similar field within the next 12-24 months is preferred.
  • Team player with a positive, can-do customer service attitude
  • Open to learning about marketing for professional services
  • Interest in engineering, infrastructure, or the AEC industry preferred
  • Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); familiarity with Adobe InDesign is a plus
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Commitment of approximately 25 hours a week for 10-12 weeks with potential for full-time employment upon mutual agreement
  • Must be computer literate
  • Valid Driver's License, with the ability to maintain insurability under the company's insurance carrier
