Octagon Media, LLC is and advertising agency and marketing firm seeking a Marketing/Communications Intern to support content, outreach, and day-to-day marketing efforts in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Position Summary

The Marketing/ Communications Intern will assist the marketing and communications team with developing and distributing content that supports brand awareness and audience engagement. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in marketing operations, creative coordination, and effective communication.

You’ll work alongside team members to help execute campaigns, support promotional initiatives, and contribute to projects that strengthen messaging across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with drafting and editing marketing and communications materials, such as social media content, announcements, anayltic reporting and supporting copywriting

  • Support the planning and execution of outreach activities, including coordinating schedules and organizing campaign assets

  • Help maintain and update marketing materials and project documentation to ensure information is accurate and current

  • Assist with monitoring campaign performance basics and summarizing observations to support continuous improvement

  • Collaborate with the team to support day-to-day production needs for ongoing marketing initiatives

Required Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a program of study and able to commit to a part-time onsite schedule in Baton Rouge, LA
