We are one of the leading providers in specialty services and equipment, which we provide in the upstream, midstream, and downstream markets. Our primary goal is to provide a safe working environment, while defining excellence through our quality work performance each and every day. We are seeking qualified applicants to fill the following role:
Shop Maintenance Technician - Odessa, TX
Located in Odessa, TX, Stranco Rental LLC, the Shop Maintenance Technician is a key position supporting the field, project, shop/maintenance facility, and rental functions within the Operations Department. The successful technician can work in a diverse, fast-paced, team-oriented environment with flexibility to work hours needed to meet critical customer and project deadlines.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair all equipment in the warehouse (to be dispatched as stand-alone rentals or on service projects in field locations). This includes cleaning, painting, etc.
- Perform maintenance and refurbishment of temperature and pressure chart recorders in warehouse.
- Drive company vehicles to make scheduled or unscheduled deliveries.
- Gather required equipment from warehouse stock for rental or service jobs.
- Load and unload equipment and supplies going out or coming in from rental or service jobs.
- Inspect, repair, clean and test hoses prior to rolling and storing.
- Daily housekeeping and maintenance of the shop, warehouse and all work stations.
- Fleet maintenance, repair, and cleaning of all company vehicles and trailers.
- Respond to service calls as required to supplement the Field Technician team.
- Perform other duties as prioritized by the Shop Maintenance Manager or Operations management on a scheduled and unscheduled basis.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- MUST be extremely mechanically inclined
- Must be available for after hours, weekend, and call-out work for rental support and service jobs (on-call rotation is in place for equipment rentals)
- Must be extremely reliable.
- MUST have valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record in accordance with Stranco guidelines (some positions will require valid CDL endorsement)
Physical Qualifications:
- Lifting up to 50 lbs and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Bending, Stooping and ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Working in hot and cold temperatures
Non-Exempt Classification
Travel: Up to 30%
