Job description

JOB SUMMARY: This position provides clerical and administrative support for all programs at Stars Community Services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education

High School graduate or equivalent required.

Experience

Two (2) years clerical experience in an office setting required.

License or Certification

None


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to sit much of the working day

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties

  1. Performs general clerical and administrative tasks for all agency programs, including data entry, copying, faxing, collating, and filing documents and materials.
  2. Provides coverage at the Receptionist desk, including answering phones, greeting guests, and directing staff and guests to appropriate persons/places as needed.
  3. Performs data entry for routine and more complex client-related projects using both internal (agency) and external (county) computer systems.
  4. Coordinates building maintenance and repairs and acts as liaison with vendors to address the needs of the physical site
  5. Maintains office supplies for Community Services, including taking inventory and ordering supplies.
