Job Description: WAREHOUSE TECHNICIAN
The workshop technician and warehouse specialist perform mechanical assembly and disassembly of equipment going to and returning from the field as well as pulling and stowing necessary parts. Candidates would be primarily responsible for the disassembly of inspection equipment and the cleaning and categorizing of parts and components prior to being returned to inventory. Candidates will also assist warehouse personnel by pulling parts from upcoming inspections and properly stowing parts after cleaning.
Responsibilities:
  • Assists with the warehousing of completed projects
  • Provides requested inventory parts to internal customers
  • Completes procedures and checklists related to group work
  • Performs duties according to the company’s ISO requirements and standards
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe and professional assigned work environment
Physical Requirements:
  • Pre employment physical and drug test required
  • must possess reasonable manual dexterity to perform the assigned duties and be capable of effective communications
  • ability to routinely lift/ carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds
  • ability to occasionally lift up to 90 pounds floor to waste, up to 50 pounds waist to shoulder and floor to shoulder 50 pounds
  • Ability to occasionally push up to 50 pounds and pull up to 50 pounds
  • endurance is limited in sitting, standing and walking for longer than 60 minutes but less than 90 minutes at a time before changing to a new activity
