Job description

Partner Customer Reference & Success Story Manager

The Sage Groups' Client is seeking a Partner Customer Reference & Success Story Manager that turns real-world enterprise deployments into powerful, multi-channel co-marketing content. Working alongside external agencies who conduct raw customer and partner interviews, you will serve as the primary editorial lead and program owner—editing raw transcripts, shaping narrative arcs, and converting interviews into high-impact case studies, executive video scripts, and event spotlights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Editorial Review & Narrative Shaping: Manage agency deliverables (interview transcripts, rough case study drafts) and polish them into compelling, Client-ready customer and partner success stories. Ensure all reference assets highlight technical transformation, joint partner value, and clear ROI metrics.
  • Event & On-Site Reference Activation: Lead reference capture campaigns around major enterprise events, coordinating customer/partner interview tracks on-site and turning high-profile conversations into polished marketing collateral.
  • Program & Stakeholder Coordination: Partner with Field Marketing, Partner Success Managers, and PR/Legal teams to secure proper customer approvals, consent forms, and co-branding permissions. Maintain the centralized library of partner customer references, making content easily accessible for sales enablement and global campaigns.

Essential Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: 4–6+ years in Customer Advocacy, Reference Marketing, Editorial Content, or Customer Success communications within enterprise B2B tech.
  • Strong Copyediting & Writing: Exceptional editorial skills with a sharp eye for narrative structure, tone, and technical accuracy when editing agency-produced copy.
  • Agency Management: Proven track record of managing external creative/copywriting agencies, providing clear briefs, and maintaining strict quality standards.
  • Event/Field Execution: Experience leveraging customer interviews at large-scale tech conferences to build post-event reference assets.

Duration: 1 year and ongoing

Remote anywhere: PST preferred but open to other time zones

Pay: $65.00 / W2 – 80 hours PTO
