Job description

We are seeking a Site Civil Project Engineer to engage for our residential and commercial site development projects. This exciting position encourages creative design skills in a dynamic and supportive work environment offering excellent prospects for professional growth. Responsibilities include site evaluation, feasibility studies, concept planning, stormwater management, utility design, roadways, client interaction, and related aspects of the land development design process. You will experience a collaborative and collegial design team environment working closely with senior management to achieve client goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, organize, and submit drawings to the appropriate jurisdictions
  • Design and coordinate all elements of the Land Development design process
  • Ensure quality control, including QC checklists
  • Works closely with the Senior Project Manager and other team members to meet project objectives including timing and budgets

Required Experience

  • Two to Five years’ experience in civil engineering design and Land Development projects
  • Proficiency in the Land Development Design Process including:

·         Sustainable design principles

·         Hydraulics and hydrology

·         Roadways and streets

·         Grading and Earthwork

·         SWM/BMP

·         Erosion and sediment control

·         Storm and Sanitary sewer piping

·         Stormwater Management

·         Water distribution systems

  • Knowledge of industry standards and requirements
  • Proficiency in Software Applications including but not limited to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Abode Acrobat or BlueBeam.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-starter, solution oriented


Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required
  • EIT preferred
