These roles typically include cashiers, sales associates, greeters, and customer service representatives. Responsibilities often involve assisting customers, handling transactions, restocking merchandise, and maintaining the appearance of the store. Storefront jobs require good communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude, as they are essential for providing a positive shopping experience.

Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management software, and cash handling procedures is typically required. Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and a friendly attitude help you stand out in this role. These skills ensure efficient operations, positive customer experiences, and contribute to the store's overall success.

This role is responsible for collaborating with trade partners, dealers, distributors, sales operations, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver a scalable B2B wholesale digital eCommerce experience. Duties include owning the Salesforce Commerce ordering-platform roadmap, translating workflows and needs of designers, showrooms, distributors, and trade accounts into product requirements, driving improvements to order accuracy, self-service, and account management, and supporting integrations with JD Edwards (JDE), D365, and downstream fulfillment and pricing systems.

Visual Comfort Offers:

  • Work-Life Balance: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm . Travel requirements are anticipated for this position. Domestic Travel 10%.
  • Training & Development: A comprehensive and structured training program, complemented by ongoing education and opportunities for career advancement.
  • Paid Time Off: Generous vacation accrual and paid time off policies.
  • Holidays: 7 paid holidays per year, in addition to 2 floating holidays.
  • Compensation: Competitive compensation plan
  • Health Benefits: Visual Comfort covers the majority of employee medical premiums, and offers competitive vision and dental coverage available starting the first of the month following your start date.
  • Insurance: Company-provided life insurance and short-term disability coverage.
  • Retirement: 401(k) plan with company matching up to 4%, available beginning the first of the month following your hire date.

How success is defined:

  • Own the product roadmap for the B2B wholesale storefront and account portal, balancing trade-customer needs with commercial and operational constraints.
  • Define and prioritize features supporting contract, tiered, and negotiated pricing; quote-to-order workflows; net terms; credit limits; and account hierarchies, including multi-location and dealer-group structures.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to translate wholesale business rules, including MOQs, backorders, sample programs, multi-ship-to requirements, and EDI, into actionable platform requirements.
  • Manage integration requirements between Salesforce Commerce B2B and JDE/D365, supporting order-to-cash processes, inventory visibility, and pricing synchronization.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, including order accuracy, self-service adoption, average order value, reorder rate, repeat-buyer cart abandonment, and support-ticket deflection.
  • Conduct discovery with trade customers and internal sales and account teams to identify friction points across quoting, reordering, and account-management workflows.
  • Develop clear product requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and facilitate backlog grooming and sprint planning with engineering and Boomi integration teams.
  • Partner with UX to design B2B-specific interaction patterns for bulk reorder, saved carts, approval workflows, and punchout catalogs.
  • Support the onboarding of new customers and channels, including distributor and M&A integrations, into the B2B commerce environment.
  • Monitor platform performance and lead root-cause analysis for B2B-specific defects, escalating issues through IT product and engineering channels.
  • Present roadmap updates, business cases, and performance results to senior stakeholders, including Sales leadership and IT.
  • Works effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems.
  • Exhibits and adheres to the established Visual Comfort Company Values.
  • Must demonstrate commitment, dependability, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule while maintaining a consistent presence in the workplace to effectively collaborate and communicate amongst co-workers and teams.

What you will bring:

  • 7+ years’ previous experience in product management, including at least 2 years supporting B2B eCommerce products, preferably within a mid-market or enterprise environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience with enterprise B2B commerce platforms, such as Salesforce, SAP, Adobe Commerce, or Oracle, and ERP-integrated pricing, inventory, and order management.
  • Working knowledge of EDI, procurement, and middleware integrations, including Boomi or MuleSoft.
  • Strong requirements-gathering and stakeholder-management skills across Sales, Operations, IT, Finance, and Engineering.
  • Ability to manage complex pricing and account structures, including contract pricing, customer catalogs, credit terms, and multi-location dealer accounts.
  • Data fluency and KPI experience, with proficiency using Power BI or similar tools to measure adoption and performance.
  • Experience creating PRDs and user stories and supporting Agile delivery through tools such as Jira or Aha!.
  • Industry experience in lighting, luxury home furnishings, interior design, building products, manufacturing, or distribution preferred.
  • Experience with multi-brand, multi-entity, dealer, showroom, or post-M&A commerce environments a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to deliver results independently and collaboratively while fostering teamwork.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and cross-channel communication skills, including the ability to translate between business and technical audiences.
  • Flexible schedule availability as business needs require, including occasional early mornings, late evenings, or weekends.
