At Shady Creek Winery, our Leads set the tone for the entire guest experience. They are the go-to support for the Front of House team, the problem-solvers on the floor, and the leaders who ensure everything runs smoothly from open to close.
We’re looking for a confident, service-driven leader who can guide the team, support operations, and step in wherever needed—all while maintaining a warm and welcoming guest experience.
What You’ll Do
  •  Work alongside the General Manager to serve as a point person for Front of House operations during each shift.
  •  Support and guide Hosts, Support Staff, and Wine Tasting Associates
  •  Step into any role (host stand, bar, floor, retail) as needed
  •  Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues in the moment
  •  Maintain strong communication with managers and the team throughout the shift
  •  Oversee opening and closing responsibilities, ensuring standards are met
  •  Monitor cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the winery
  •  Help uphold service standards and reinforce training expectations
What We’re Looking For
  •  Previous experience in hospitality or a leadership role preferred
  •  Strong communication and decision-making skills
  •  Ability to stay calm, confident, and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment
  •  Natural leadership presence—team members look to you for direction
  •  Strong understanding of guest experience and service flow
  •  Flexible, team-first mindset with willingness to jump in anywhere
  •  Availability on weekends and holidays
Why You’ll Love It Here
  •  A dynamic, fast-paced winery environment
  •  Opportunity to grow into higher leadership roles
  •  A collaborative team culture that values strong leadership
  •  The ability to make a direct impact on both guest and team experience
Compensation
$14/hour base pay + tips
Typical total earnings range from $20–$30+/hour
Our Ideal Candidate
You’re someone who leads by example. You notice what’s happening on the floor before anyone says it, step in without hesitation, and support your team in a way that builds confidence and consistency. You understand that great leadership creates great guest experiences.
