Job description

Retail Remodel Associate – Overnight Project

Location: Gilroy, CA

Project Dates: July – October 2026

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Position Type: Full-Time, Temporary Project

Duration: 16+ Weeks

About the Role

We are hiring team members for an overnight retail store remodel project in Gilroy, California. Associates will assist with updating and reorganizing a large retail space. This is hands-on work in an active retail environment that requires teamwork, attention to detail, and dependability.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
  • Stocking & Shelving: Efficiently unbox, sort, and place merchandise onto shelves and displays according to updated store layouts and planograms.

  • Fixture Assembly: Carefully disassemble old store fixtures and build/install new shelving units, racks, and displays.

  • Store Resetting: Move products, clear aisles, and organize backroom inventory to prepare the store for its refreshed layout.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and fellow team members to meet daily project milestones safely and efficiently.


Position Requirements
  • Experience: None! No previous retail or merchandising experience is required—we will train you on everything you need to know.

  • Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand, walk, bend, or kneel for long periods of time throughout the shift.

  • Reliability: Consistent attendance and a strong work ethic are essential for this time-sensitive project.

  • Days: Sunday – Thursday

  • Hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM

  • Note: Overtime may be available. Schedule may vary slightly based on project needs.
