Job description

To increase Orgill's market share through prospective or existing dealers by participation in Orgill sales and marketing programs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prospect for new business in the defined region assigned.
• Responsible for planning, developing, presenting and implementing prospecting strategies that attain new customer business and increase dealer participation in Orgill's sales and Retail Services programs.
• Accountable for the successful management of all new or existing dealer supplier conversions and/or bin tagging projects through the process of Orgill's conversion procedures.
• Work closely with Retail Services Project Managers to ensure successful implementation.
• Present, sell and implement all vertical growth programs to prospective or existing dealers.
• Provide training to sales representatives and trainees about vertical growth programs, store planning and conversion programs.
• Required attendance to sales, training, dealer market, regional shows and store opening functions.
• Provide periodic updates of BDM, conversion, blitz and dealer market reports.
• Monitor and provide reports about the buying program pace for new accounts.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• An Associate or Bachelor Degree in a similar field is preferred.
• Five or more years of experience in the hardlines industry and a thorough knowledge of the wholesale or retail hardware, lumber, and building material industry's concepts, practices, and procedures is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Gmail, G Suite and Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• A valid driver's license, along with a safe driving record is required.
• Travel by car and via airplanes to customer locations when necessary.
• Must be willing to work from home, traveling by auto and air, 4 -5 days per week is required.
