Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting Merchandising Manager with Hybrid a New Yok, NY. Responsibilities for Merchandising Manager include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement in store merchandising building brand awareness through implementation of Marketing/creative concepts.

  • Manage the production progress of each project from conception through completion ensuring compliance with quality requirements & delivery schedule.

  • Manages Salon Centric 12-month store calendar with focus months.

  • Works with brand marketers to develop calendars and coordinates across brands as necessary: includes endcap focus / focus months.

  • Manages master support list and due dates; partners with brand counterpart to make timeline delivery dates.

  • Collaborate with marketing, PR, and education for the development, specification and purchase of all in store premium/promotional items.

  • Manage library /master document of all store fixture components.

  • Maintain store count and database of relevant store information.

  • Issue purchase order for all team projects.

  • Reconcile invoices, receiving issues for all Pos.

  • Develop collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Candidates for Merchandising Manager must meet the following requirements to be considered:

  • Ability to read engineered drawings and die lines.

  • Knowledgeable of industry trends and best practices.

  • Technical expertise IM/Vac, vac forms, fabrication, wall systems, Successful candidate will have excellent project management skills, communication skills and be self-motivated.

  • Experience in the beauty industry preferred but not required.
