Steinhafels is currently recruiting a Store Manager to lead one of our retail locations. Our Store Managers play a critical role in the success of the store by hiring, training, coaching, and developing a strong sales team. They maintain a strong presence on the sales floor, supporting their team throughout the sales process and stepping in when needed to help overcome obstacles, close sales, and ensure every customer receives an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities

Primary duties for the Sales Manager include:

  • Open and close the store ensuring every detail has been accomplished
  • Keep the sales floor maintained with well trained Sales Associates who uphold our standards
  • Handles sales conflicts in a timely manner with the goal to resolve
  • Handles all disciplinary actions as set by the company guidelines
  • Observes sales staff to better coach a successful staff
  • Pre-hiring surveys, interviewing, and hiring to meet staffing requirements
  • Direct the staff in setup of new sales events
  • Take part in the training of new sales associates
  • Participates in management meetings
  • Requires punctuality and regular attendance
  • All other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Position Requirements for the Store Manager:

  • Requires the ability to motivate, communicate and train employees
  • Must be able to complete required reports on time as assigned
  • Requires good organizational skills
  • Position requires regular weekend availability
