Director of Operations - Nonprofit Programs & Community Services
Indianapolis, IN | Direct Hire | $65,000-$70,000 annually
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected faith-based nonprofit organization in Indianapolis to identify a Director of Operations - Nonprofit Programs & Community Services. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, administration, logistics, budgeting, and support services for a growing youth and family-focused community center.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operations professional who is passionate about community impact, organizational excellence, and supporting programs that positively influence children, youth, and families.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operational functions, including enrollment administration, attendance tracking, and record management.
  • Manage logistics related to transportation, food service coordination, inventory, supplies, and facility readiness.
  • Develop and maintain staff schedules while supporting coverage planning and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor operational budgets, expenditures, and financial reporting to ensure responsible stewardship of resources.
  • Support compliance initiatives, documentation requirements, grant reporting, and audit preparation.
  • Partner with leadership to ensure a safe, welcoming, and compliant environment for youth, families, staff, and volunteers.
  • Prepare operational reports related to attendance, incidents, transportation, and program support activities.
  • Supervise and support operational staff, including administrative, transportation, and food service personnel.
Qualifications
Required

  • Ability to work fully onsite in Indianapolis.
