BASIC FUNCTION: The basic function of the Assistant Manager is to support the Store Manager in the daily operations of a retail store. Your role is to supervise employees, work with customers and help carry out the directives of the Store Manager and District Supervisor. You will ensure that store personnel provide exceptional customer service.Responsibilitiesa.The assistant manager is directly responsible and accountable to the store manager

The assistant manager is to carry out responsibilities along with or in the absence of the store manager.b.To be professional at all times. c.Responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the store, providing effective leadership for all personnel.d.Have exceptional communication skills with customers, personnel and the store manager. Must have a professional, helpful and friendly attitude at all times.e.When doing paperwork and/or the deposit, be responsible for controlling the cash accuracy of the deposit and for the accuracy and timely preparation of all reports

No unauthorized persons should handle the deposit or go to the bank. (BANK DEPOSITS TO THE BANK NO LATER THAN 10:00AM, REPORTS SHOULD BE DONE & SENT TO THE OFFICE NO LATER THAN 12:00PM). If there is a problem your manager or supervisor should be notified.f.Adhere to the store budget in coordination with the store manager
