Party Wow! is looking for experienced Managers and Assistant Managers for our "Party Wow" and "Costumes & More" locations in Florence Alabama. This is an opportunity to get involved with a dynamic and growing company. We are looking for creative professionals who have high energy, love fun, and possess strong leadership, customer service and merchandising skills. Candidates must have a minimum of three years retail management experience as an overall General Manger or Assistant Manager. Prior retail experience with party supplies, specialty merchandise, discount, or big box retailers is needed (e.g., Party City, CVS, Walgreens, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, etc...). We require excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to motivate your team, excellent personal leadership skills, the ability to maintain composure under pressure, and good organizational skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

SUPERVISORY FUNCTIONS

  • Train and supervise store associates and management team.
  • Develop daily tasks and priorities.
  • Manage store operations.
  • Store opening and closing responsibilities.
  • Supervise cash management and loss prevention policies.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

  • Model and promote excellent customer service in accordance with our standards.

RECEIVING / INVENTORY

  • Oversee and monitor store receiving function.
  • Ensure receiving accuracy, and that receiving area is properly maintained.
  • Maintain accurate store inventory counts in POS system.
  • Work to control and minimize inventory loss (shrink).

MERCHANDISING

  • Maintain everyday and seasonal merchandise areas.
  • Monitor and react to sales trends.
  • Maintain adherence to merchandise directives and "plan-o-grams".
  • Manage inventory levels and in-stock conditions.
  • Order and maintain product and specific categories.
Requirements:


  • Adherence to our dress code and store policies are required.
  • Our receiving and merchandise process will require you to lift, push and pull boxes up to 35lbs daily.
  • Daily cleaning, store recovery, and product maintenance is required.
  • Climbing ladders is required to stock shelves and obtain merchandise for our customers.
  • Ringing transactions on a register is required.
  • Filling helium balloon orders and working at the balloon counter is required.
