Job description

Schedule/Hours: schedule varies (25 hours per week)
This position is responsible for:
Assists store customers in donating, selecting, and purchasing store items. Operates and maintains a cash register. Receives, sorts, prices and prepares donated items for display in the store.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assists customers purchasing items by utilizing a cash register. Collects monies, counts change, and prepares receipts.
  • Receive, sorts, prices and prepares donated items for display in the store. Hang and tag clothing
  • Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of store displays, register area, and warehouse area

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
  • Work is performed in a normal store environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather. Occasional discomforts associated with dust, noise, crowds, odors, and the like
  • Work requires performance of duties in social service environments where exposure to communicable and infectious diseases are possible.
