Dewberry is seeking a Senior Roadway Design Project Manager for our Fairfax, VA office. This is an excellent career opportunity to join a top Transportation Design firm. We are seeking a candidate that will have the opportunity to grow and strengthen our transportation practice in Fairfax and throughout Virginia. Candidate must have prior transportation project management experience. Candidate will be expected to serve as a roadway design project manager on design-bid-build projects, with future opportunities serve as design manager on design-build projects.

  • Project management of complex transportation roadway projects.
  • Daily supervision of support staff and document production.
  • Monitoring budgets and schedules.
  • Assisting with and collaboration with team members on the marketing of new projects.
  • Assisting the Marketing Coordinator with the preparation of proposals.
  • Interfacing regularly with clients.

  • BS degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering.
  • 12+ of progressive roadway design experience
  • VA PE license, or ability to obtain within 1 year.
  • Experience with the VDOT Project Development Process.
  • Experience with delivering locality projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Project management experience.

The salary range for this position is 137,000 to 176,000 depending on experience.
