Job Summary:
Emerge is seeking a highly skilled Solutions Delivery Specialist to serve as the primary technical point of contact supporting their client's storage networking product family. This role requires deep expertise in storage area networks (SAN) and involves providing technical guidance, maintaining lab infrastructure, and delivering knowledge-sharing sessions.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Act as the primary technical liaison for product qualification activities with Dell Storage, ensuring seamless integration and support throughout the qualification lifecycle
โ€ข Maintain and document lab infrastructure, ensuring all equipment aligns with the latest hardware generations and target software code releases
โ€ข Provide strategic technical guidance to Dell Partner proof-of-concept labs, proactively identifying and addressing equipment requirements and configuration needs
โ€ข Deliver impactful presentations including product roadmap updates, technical enablement workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions to Dell and Dell Partner lab teams
โ€ข Serve as a subject matter expert on SAN solution competitive advantages, actively advocating for integration into Dell's Primary Storage solution roadmap
โ€ข Monitor and manage equipment lifecycle, tracking Last Date of Support (LDOS) and coordinating timely upgrades across all lab products
โ€ข Configure and validate solutions using Dell's configurator tools to ensure optimal system designs and compatibility
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
โ€ข 8โ€“12 years of experience in solutions engineering, storage networking, or related technical domains
โ€ข Deep technical expertise in Fibre Channel and FICON protocols, SAN design principles, and enterprise storage networking architectures
โ€ข Proven experience in Pre-Sales and/or Post-Sales engineering roles supporting complex storage environments
โ€ข Hands-on proficiency with multilayer directors and Fabric Switches designed for Storage Area Networks
โ€ข Strong understanding of multiprotocol support (SCSI, NVMe), SAN extension technologies (FCIP), and business continuity/disaster recovery architectures
โ€ข Experience with Dell's configurator and related configuration management tools
โ€ข Familiarity with automation and programmability using Python, Ansible, REST APIs, and SDKs
โ€ข Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
โ€ข Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
โ€ข Industry certifications in storage networking or SAN technologies
โ€ข Experience working in partner ecosystem environments
โ€ข Background in competitive solution positioning and technical sales support
